Hello Reader,
Latina Equal Pay Day is being observed this week- on October 21, 2021.
More than 50 years after the passage of the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Latinas today typically earn only 57 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men.
Latinas must work nearly 23 months to earn the same amount.
We are not getting paid equally for equal work.
Although there are many reasons for why this happens, and there are issues with equal pay across the spectrum - I am specifically interested in looking at our Mindset around Money.
For this reason I developed the Latina Equal Pay Day Challenge this week!
It is open to anyone who is interested in working on their money mindset, because everything starts with our thoughts.
This Challenge is designed to:
1 - Build our Awareness
2 - Look at our relationship with Money
3 - Begin to learn the tangible tools we need to succeed
Everyday, this week -I will go Live on my IG - at 8:15 AM PST/ 11:15 AM EST- and I will give you an assignment to build your Money Mindset.

I developed this Challenge because as women we need to step up our game when it comes to earning the money we deserve. We may not be able to solve the challenges with federal policy or within Corporate America, but we can learn to manage our thoughts.
Your money mindset is one of the most important muscles you can develop.
